Our Service Hour Commitment Statement
In 2010, St. Timothy is committed to providing 25,000 “community hours” of transforming ministry service to our community and the world.
Definition
Community service is any act of service that has a direct impact on changing the physical and spiritual condition of the people in our community and the world for Christ. It can take many different forms, whether it's participating in a ministry at St. Timothy, volunteering through a community organization, helping with Sunday Services, going on a mission, or simply giving your neighbor a hand. Each act of service initiates a domino effect and becomes a chain reaction when people "pay it forward" that will eventually result in Houston and beyond being transformed for Christ.
Doing something is about bringing people together and taking action that makes a difference – transforming lives and communities through the love of Jesus Christ.
