National Missions

We seek ways to reach our neighbors with the love of Jesus in very practical ways.  The Gulf Coast is still struggling with the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and we have been part of the rebuilding process.

Biloxi Huricane Relief

St. Timothy has sent 3 teams in the past year to Biloxi to assist in rebuilding homes.  Please contact Gloria Ruppel in the church office if you are interested in joining with another team for this trip.

Port Arthur Hurricane Relief

The east Texas area needs assistance in rebuilding, so Lutheran Social Services of the South has organized short term trips to rebuild homes. 

Our last trip was on February 15 - 18, 2008, and 9 people from St. Timothy were able to share their expertise and servants' hearts by working on a Port Arthur home that had been damaged by Hurricane Rita.
