International Missions
Jesus commanded His disciples to tell the world about Him starting in Jerusalem, then moving out to Judea, to Samaria, and finally to the whole world. As believers in Christ, we have the privilege of sharing our faith with the world in a variety of ways.
Nakuru, Kenya - Serving Our Sister Church
From May 29-June 6, four of our St. Timothy family traveled to Kenya to serve in a vision clinic in partnership with a Lutheran church in Nakuru, Kenya. Dorothy Adams, Rachel Baer, Ginny Sjurseth, and Tom Swisher were part of a team, along with Christ the King Lutheran Church in Kingwood, TX that shared the Gospel of Jesus with that community. This team saw over 2500 people for vision correction and celebrated 12 baptisms. Please pray for great success for the building of God’s Kingdom through their work. Here is more information on how you can be part of our work in Kenya and please be praying if God is calling you to go on the Fall Trip, November 11-21, 2010.
