How do you feel about the idea of living a simple life? How do you feel about silence or solitude? Why?
Beyond your necessities (Food, shelter, clothing) what things do you have in your house? Do you view them as gifts from God? What are you more attached to - the gift of the Giver? What if God asked you to give those things up?
What sorts of things to you find yourself replacing God with, in order to fill the voids in your life? Activity? Noise? Stuff? Reputation? People?
