"Give Us This Day Our Daily News"

Today’s headlines can be perceived in a variety of ways.  This class will look at a newsworthy event from each previous week’s headlines through a biblical worldview, seeking scripture’s wisdom and asking questions that impact our lives as followers of Christ.  Led by Pastor Steve Henze in the Life Center.

“Home for the Summer”

College students home for the summer—too old for high school and too young for the “old people’s” class.  A new discussion group for you is starting at 9:30 on Sundays. This group will gather in the back right room in the Annex (free-standing building in the parking lot.) to discuss faith, the church, and life as seen in the book Blue Like Jazz.

“Epic: The Story God is Telling”

This women’s class will study the book by the same title, answering this question: If life is a story, what exactly is my role?  John Eldredge, the author of Epic, will give you a fresh perspective on God’s larger Story and His heart of love for you.

“Deaf Ministry: Learning Sign Language”

Sign language for the hearing impaired is another way in which faith is imparted.  Who knows what doors God might open for you?  Becky Jungklaus will teach basic sign language in easy-to-understand lessons.  This class will meet in the Office Conference room.

“Worship: More than Music”

Do you “rate” worship on the songs we sing?  If so, you’re not alone!  Chris Branscome will lead a study on the what, why, and how of worship.  Come to grow in your understanding and appreciation of the time spent in God’s presence, both in and out of church.  This group will meet in the back left room in the Annex (free-standing building in the parking lot.)  No Bible experience necessary.

Individual Home Study

The Abiding Word and Prayer is a monthly calendar that provides a structured way to read through the Bible in a year.  It also provides you with a daily specific prayer focus to enrich your prayer life.  These are available at the Information Desk.
