Wow - tomorrow I'll be on a plane heading to Kenya to tell people about the amazing love of Jesus Christ! It's sad, but to those of us that have known the love of Jesus for many years, there's a tendency to forget just how great a gift that is! But to someone who has never heard - to someone who doesn't love themself - to someone who has never known true love and acceptance - to someone like that, just imagine how powerful and fresh that message will be!
Tomorrow we begin the lengthy trek just to get to Kenya. We'll arrive late Friday, and on Saturday we'll do some final prep in Nairobi. Then on Sunday, we'll head to Nakuru - our post. On Monday, the fun begins! I'm asking you to join me in prayer for the people we'll come in contact with - to pray that God will prepare them and open their hearts to the good news of Jesus Christ!
If I have internet access, I'll be giving updates and sharing specific prayer requests on a daily basis. So check back - and I hope you'll marvel with me as we see God at work!! May it all be for His honor and glory!
